In the quiet of God's presence,
We welcome this new day.
We humbly pray for guidance -
Keep us on the narrow way.
Help us do for others -
Greet them with a smile,
Lend a helping hand,
And walk that extra mile.
Grant us an inner peace,
That only You can give -
A serenity that will last
So long as we shall live.
Then when the day is ended -
Cares all laid aside,
We'll give God all the glory -
Our Master and our Guide.

Have you ever been just sitting there and all of a sudden you feel like doing something nice for someone you care for. . . THAT'S GOD. . . He talks to you through the Holy Spirit.

Have you ever been down and out and nobody seems to be around for you to talk to. . . THAT'S GOD . . . He wants you to talk to Him.

Have you ever been thinking about somebody that you haven't seen in a long time and then next thing you know you see them or receive a phone call from them. . .THAT'S GOD. . . there is no such thing as coincidence.

Have you ever received something wonderful that you didn't even ask for, like money in the mail, a debt that had mysteriously been cleared, or a coupon to a department store where you had just seen something you wanted, but couldn't afford. . . THAT'S GOD. . . He knows the desires of your heart.

Have you ever been in a situation and you had no clue how it is going to get better, but now you look back on it. . . THAT'S GOD. . . He passes us through tribulation to see a brighter day.

Dear God,
I admit that I am a sinner,
I mess up sometimes,
And I ask you to forgive
me of my sins,
I believe that Jesus died
on the cross,
That he rose from the grave
three days later,
And I invite him into my heart to be my Lord and Savior,
Thank You For Saving Me,

Hello God, I called tonight
To talk a little while
I need a friend who'll listen
To my anxiety and trial.
You see, I can't quite make it
Through a day just on my own...
I need your love to guide me,
So I'll never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep,
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their lives with confidence
For whatever fate they're bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I can't change in any way.
I thank you God, for being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice
When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time.
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening
To my troubles and my sorrow.

Sometimes when things are going great I forget to Pray
Then in darkness I stumble and lose my way
I open a closet where I have tucked Jesus in
I have asked for Guidance to find my way again
Once more a light begins to shine
I find Peace and Contentment in this troubled Life of Mine
He says My Child, did you forget I am always here for you
To help with the bad times you go through
I am The Alpha and Omega, The beginning and the End
Child I will not Forsake you, I am Your Best Friends.
Remember when you fell forsaken and you lose your way
Just Bow Your Head and Open Up Your Heart

Sometimes when things are going great I forget to Pray

Don't Forget To Pray!
Dear God,
I'm writing to say I'm sorry
For being angry yesterday
When you seemed to ignore my prayer
And things didn't go my way
First, my car broke down
I was very late for work
But I missed that awful accident
Was that your handiwork?
I found a house I loved
But others got there first
I was angry, then relieved
When I heard the pipes had burst!
Yesterday, I found the perfect dress
But the color was too pale
Today, I found the dress in red
Would you believe, it was on sale!
I know you're watching over me
And I'm feeling truly blest
For no matter what I pray for
You always know what's best!
I have this circle of E-mail friends,
Who mean the world to me;
Some days I "send" and "send",
At other times, I let them be.
When I see each name download,
And view the message they've sent;
I know they've thought of me that day,
And "well wishes" were their intent.
I am so blessed to have these friends,
With whom I've grown so close;
So this little poem I dedicate to them,
Because to me they are the "Most"!
So to you, my friends, I would like to say,
Thank you for being a part;
Of all my daily contacts,
This comes right from my heart.
God bless you all is my prayer today,
I'm honored to call you "friend";
I pray the Lord will keep you safe,
